Clicking under waterfall. And relay behind BCM?
#1
When key is on and car is not started, I heard clicking and seen it was coming from under the drivers side. Upon further investigating I discovered both air temperature would click when I turned the knob one click and same for the mode actuator. When I took the panel to check, I seen each actuator has a notch on both sides im assuming shows where it starts and stops.
Both seem to move where they are supposed to but I keep hearing it click when I do it and I have never heard it before. When I searched it was mentioning plastic gears. Do both actuators work on the same gear?
I wanted to remove them and check to make sure the shaft or something is not broken but wanted to find out if it will be okay to remove and visually check. I read a couple post where people had to have them relearned because it was unplugged.
Also the relay I am talking about isnt clicking like that but I noticed the relay there and its directly on the back of the BCM and the BCM cover doesnt show it and a wiring diagram of the bcm isnt showing it unless im looking at the wrong diagram, anyone know what that controlls?
Is this clicking normal and I just havent noticed it?
