Clutch Pedal on Floor

So i went to leave my driveway today and i couldnt get the car in gear. Thought it was just from being on a slight incline. Finally got on the road and the clutch pedal hit the floor. Pulled over and shut the car off, checked my fluid and the pedal. Everything looks fine. Parked it and came back to it a few hours later, drove perfect. All i can think is im getting air into the slave. Any other ideas?

This happened to me once last fall, but I still had a little pedal left. I stopped the car, and worked the pedal with it out of gear. It seemed to fix it, because it hasn't happened again, but it was just plain weird.

My car HAD been parked for 3.5 days, so I thought that might have something to do with it. No other clues here...

Have had same problem 2 or 3 times, don't know if it's clutch or weak pressure plate,if these have one, not familiar with these, been away from this stuff a long time.

That doesn't even sound possible, but it might have something to do with the brake vacuum assist problem that the early SS models were prone to. On the LS and LT models, the brake master cylinder provides hydraulic fluid for operating the clutch on manual transmission-equipped vehicles - I am guessing that the SS models are the same in this respect. Very strange.

Went out today, pedal is on the floor but the brakes work fine. Full pressure on the brakes, but no pressure at all behind the clutch pedal

Sure sounds like a slave cylinder that's gone bad, any signs of fluid leakage at the bell-housing or clutch slippage?

There's only 1 reservoir, so I would assume this is true for the SS as well. Unable to go check it ATM.

Well, cant drive it so cant test for slippage. As for leaks, nothing in the driveway but i havent been under it to check the bell housing. It seems like a slave, but with no leaking
