Dropped it off at chevy 2 days ago. They got back to me yesterday saying its nothing more than a clutch. I still dont believe them. Will all the chevy's and pontiac's ive owned and destroyed clutches, not one has ever gone to the floor like this.

I apologize for my confusion. So the dealership pretty much said it was normal?

Went and got the car from the dealership since im fed up with them. 4th gear pull on a hill and it didnt slip at all. Took it to a local trans shop who agreed to tear it down and actually inspect it. Chevy told me they did, but i have yet to see a trans come out and back in under 4 hours. If it really is a clutch, he's comming in $400 under what their price would be. If it ends up being a slave like i believe, then ill be taking the dealership to small claims court. Been forced to drive my caddy again and its on historic plates.

I have the same problem I think its the master or slave leaking internally and hydraulically locking the system up. Probably more the master as its crappy plastic.
