Anyway, the answer is drum roll please: a new ACDelco 131-158 thermostat, no other part number.
Open the pressure cap to check coolant level frequenly.
Since you said in another thread that you are losing oil; you should suspect bad rings, 2 quarts in 2 weeks is a lot. Check it very frequently.

Greg, I confirmed the engine in question is not a 2.0 LNF turbo engine, that’s why I separated the threads also the other thread was from over a decade ago, doubtful any responses would be posted.

Ok, I've moved all of your posts to this thread. So now oil loss is noted here, so our answers are a little bit muddled.
