I need to get a left side sun visor for my 06 HHR. What do they cost?? Thanks
Car had some kind of sun visor recall and dealer broke it, won't stay up. He says he didn't bbreak it. Thanks

SteveMaine,

If you are looking to replace your visor on you own I would suggest looking at this website http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/. If you would like to send me PM informing me on what happened at the dealership it would be much appreciated.

Thank you,

Evan, Chevrolet Customer Service

No - don't say that! Our 1996 Pontiac Transport (traded for the 2011 HHR Blackie) had only two really irritating issues as it approached 300,000 miles. One was a non-functional cruise control that would smoke if accidentally activated and the other was a broken sun visor that we just couldn't locate a replacement for. With all the Transports/Lumina's etc they made you'd think there would be a few but all were missing or broken it seemed. I really don't want a repeat of the problem on Blackie in the future. I really hope this isn't a chronic problem.

I replaced mine as well. I had the same problem. Mine started making a clicking noise and then would not stay up. The dealership wanted $80+ for it. I got mine from www.gmpartsdirect.com for about half the price but the new one doesn't work as good as the old did before it broke.

Visor

I was surprized to find out that there aren't many HHR's in the junkyards; at least, not in my area. If you could find one there, it would probably be the best deal...
