Ref: 2011 LT, 2.4L, AT...etc.
I have a crazy intermittent dash warning light problem...Once the engine is warm or just driven for a few minutes the ESC and ABS warning lights will come on accompanied by the normal bell dinging as well as a "Service Required" notification on the dash. I can simply turn that off via the "INFO" button on the steering wheel. Nothing changes in the driveability or braking of the car.
After checking to see if any code warnings were applicable...there was one for the front right hub, I proceeded to replace both front hubs and ABS sensors as well as the right ABS wiring harness. This has not changed a thing...I still get the warnings. I have also chased the wiring and there are no brakes, chafes or loose connections...I am stumped, suggestions please. BTW, I haven't taken it to my local Chevy service center.

I have had same thing happen 2-3 times, once couple days ago except code indicated left front wheel sensor. Pulled over turn car off and cranked in couple minutes and ESC , ABS on breifly then went off….then checked codes when got home (left front)….hasnt come on again so far. Dont think its big deal unless frequent

 

AS noted above I have done about all I can do to remedy this problem...I have done as the video shows and removed the fuse block, cleaned and re-installed. Tightened the hold-down screws, checked all the fuses and checked for broken wiring. I have also checked the wiring for the code reader under the dash and all the wiring is in good shape...
I guess my next step is off to my Chevy dealership...ugh!

 

Most dealerships don’t remember the HHR let alone how to fix one. Be prepared for a ridiculous price tag!
I’m going to suggest you go to your local parts palace, like Auto Zone and have the battery load tested. Anything less than 12.4 volts is a dead battery, not enough to run the computers and recharge the battery let alone the lights, radio and fuel pump.
ask them to test the charging system, your alternator may be faulty

 

…are your tires all same size? Profile…?

 

But, did you tighten the 4 bolts past fearing stripping them; at least 1 click sound? The point is to be sure all of those contacts engage fully.
Chevy dealer will try to sell you a new computer with no guarantee that ut will solve the problem and no refunds.

 

After all of the help from everyone in which I completed all the recommendationsto the letter, I took the car to my Chevy dealer (Moritz in Ft. Worth). They have a tech that is an HHR owner and he loves working on them. After hooking up the computer he found "Fault Code C0040 00" this showed a bad EBCM module which they replaced and "voile" the warning lights are gone and the car runs great. FYI, I have the ENDURANCE protection plan and it paid for everyhing except a small deductable.

C0040-00 indicates the front right wheel sensor, NOT the EBCM. The EBCM sets the code, hopefully they actually replaced the hub or just fixed a bad connector.
At least, they didn't waste your money.
