Or they would be in bankruptcy and not need to deal with you anymore.

My attorney assures me that when GM files, it would only delay it... lemon law would still be in affect. The dealer called me this afternoon... blown head gasket and warped head again... they are waiting on GM to advise them on what to do next. Techs at GM are stumped.... lol

I don't know why they are stumped. The solution is easy. Hand you keys to the car they let you pick out know matter is if it cost more than your original one since they owe you pain and suffering. Load this car on a flat bed. Tow it to the nearest body of water, back up and slide it into a watery grave.

Problem solved.

I've been kind of following this and is it just me or are these people intent on treating the symptoms rather than the problem? This car has overheated EIGHT TIMES! It's definitely not something that's been "repaired" so far. Why didn't these fools just pull the engine and replace the whole thing, send the engine to Detroit and let those guys figure out what the problem is?

I'll bet there is something loose inside the water jackets that gets lodged somewhere and blocks the flow of coolant. If coolant flows through the system the way it should the engine stays within operating temp, if not it overheats.

And why do they keep patching this POS up and handing it back to you? They should give you a loaner until you get your new car.

This is every new car buyer's nightmare. You should write a book... or at least an article on your experience.

yes u are correct in the engine has been replaced, I am looking at the paperwork right now, it shows the milage at 1,405. The dealer that now has the car has informed me this afternoon that the briliant engineers at GM has athorized them to install another new complete motor. Yes you read that correctly ... A NEW MOTOR AGAIN, this time the milage is 12,140. I am at a loss. and yes the milage is acurate...lol

I have a problem keeping up with all your dealer visits, but didn't you have a cooling fan failure after the new engine was installed which caused that engine to over heat?

And didn't you recently say that they were giving you a new car?

This is a bit surreal.

yes it did have a cooling fan failure about 3 months ago. They said it had a short. And yes they are in the process of exchange/buy out but the attorneys are battling over attorney fee's, aparently the fee's have to be settled b4 the buyout can proceed.
