DIC message:Service Traction Control

Okay, I leave work, stop at a store, and start my HHR, and I get the message" Service Traction Cotrol" and "Service ESC". It did not come on 10 minutes ago when I left work. I tried shutting the car off and restarting it, but it still comes on.I got a feeling if I take it to the dealer, they're gonna tie up for days, not give a loaner, and probally tell me it's not under warranty. It's only got 13,000 miles on here. Any sulations?

if its anything like my wifes van her sensors went bad and they were in her wheel hub. unfortunatley they had to replace the hub assembly which was around $550. chances are your still covered under the bumper to bumper warranty. youll be fine. had hers fixed in a couple of hours. ofcourse her warranty was up

Could the battery be running down due to short trips at low speed? If that is the driving pattern, put a charger on the battery ... and/or check voltage.

It is under warranty.
I had a similar issue, and it was a quick simple fix, they just had to update the software. Haven't had the problem since. Also, you may notice that your cruise control doesn't work when the warnings are displayed.
