Do you think this sounds right?

I've determined that the noise I'm hearing is most likely the injectors. I used a screwdriver to listen and its definitely loudest when it's touching the fuel rail. No noise from the chain. Tomorrow I'm doing oil change and a best line oil treatment. I also want to do a fuel treatment maybe it will quiet injectors down? I'm changing the plugs as well. I found a timing set on ebay for around 60$ I'm going to be doing that within the next week as well. Does anyone have any opinions on treatments or additives. I have mixed feelings and have heard contradicting opinions. I'm sure the oil additive can't hurt. I'd like to quiet the injectors maybe they are dirty. They will be getting replaced soon as well

No opinion on additives, what ever you like.
a cheap $60.00 timing set lasted me from Feb 20, 2020, till Dec 29, 2020.
you pay your money, you take your chances. Fuel injector cleaner won’t make them any quieter, just cleaner.

Thankyou for that. I guess I won't be getting the ebay timing set. Rockauto has one for 90ish for the whole set 170ish with waterpump.

Do you require a new water pump? If your on a budget you can just order the two kits, I gave you the part numbers earlier.
I did look into the Cloyes kit for the chains guides and water pump, it was about $60.00 less then ordering kits separately

While I am on a budget. And I don't feel like spending that much part of me thinks I might regret not getting the water pump as well. I would hate to have to take her back apart again in a few months or whenever water pump decides to go. I don't think I've ever had a car that didn't end up needing a water pump. (I always buy cheap used cars) if the water pump decides to go I will end up spending more in the long run on the pump and that specialty tool needed. I might look into the average lifespan of these water pumps and go from there.

On average 100,000 miles to 175,000 miles, so while you have your hands greasy, change the water pump. It’s way easier with the front cover off.
Make sure you remove the water pump drain plug , you don’t want coolant in the oil pan.

You should have no trouble telling the difference between injector noise and timing chain noise.
I’ve has a lot of older cars and only replaced a water pump once, and it didn’t really need it. People panic at the first sign of a dribble but a tiny seal leak is of no consequence and often quits.
If you need timing chain stuff, there is a broadly held view in the HHR community that you should only buy the Cloyes brand.
