Donut Tire Size?

I'm starting a new job on Monday that requires me to drive about 140 miles roundtrip every day. I've never had a donut tire (purchased the HHR used and never thought to check for a donut before I drove it home), much less a spare, and something told me last week that a new spare would be a wise investment. So I went to GMPartsDirect and queried up their "compact spare". Whipped out the credit card and clicked some buttons and waited for shipping. When it arrived, it was EXACTLY what was shown on the partsdirect website, JUST the rim. Doh! So here's my newest question: what size tire do most of you have on your donut and where the heck can I buy something like that?

Salvage yard or LKQ supplier would be a lot cheaper and would come with the tire and the wheel. If someone doesn't post the tire size, I will look at mine when I get home and post it.

Thanks for posting that tire size. Any idea where to buy something like that? Google isn't being my friend today. I really don't want to buy anything used.

I tried that. They are all deleted posts from Craig's list, or one of those websites that gives you a list of other search engines.

Try calling a body shop and find out who they use for "used parts" also know as LKQ. Then give that company a call. Or any salvage/used parts seller in your town.
