That's normal operation.

 

By the time I make it to my destination and cut my car off and take it out I have to keep wiggling it and it's like after a few time or sometimes 5 mins maybe more it like it hot and wont stop chiming like then sometime i cant take tbe key right out and the ignition catch and lock like it suppose to and the times stop like it suppose to other days ot keeps going till the next time I get in car now if it winter it will work much better but I have notice since it's been spring getting warmer I have the issue of it not wanting to catch I would say I really think it's in the colum of the ignition some kinda wire is making this happen thing is who do I take I have had the ignition switch done when Chevy did a recall on ignition switch and I have again had another put one that's not the problem it's like the switch is not all the way all and out of all these people on here someone has to have come up with what really wrong I know for a fact ik not the only hhr driver still going threw this

 

I think it's in my ignition to as well question is who do I take it to electric place or a shop did u find out your issue at all

 

I have to do that several time and it like something catches it in the ignition and u hear the lock noise and the chime stops it's like my ignition not locking or whatever its suppose to do did u come up with any thing
