Did AZ give you a printout of the battery test results?
What kind of "acting up" are we talking about?
Like was said before, the 2 systems really are not related, it's most likely an electrical problem. If the battery is the original, it is way past it's lifespan.

We don't charge by the word here; could you please tell us what your exact problem is?
I really doubt it is exactly the same as the OP, since he changed his in mid stream.
You have a check engine light, maybe find out why?

The locks and transmission act up when both problems are present, it has a hard time getting up to 40 mph the battery is not original and the check engine light is for a temperature sensor it needs to be replaced but the temperature gage is within normal range it never gets to even half, and no autozone didn’t give me a printout

First thing would be for you to have the CEL codes pulled and post them up here. Code numbers only. No descriptions since those can be misleading.
I got nothing from that short video.
FYI. There is no specific CEL for a temp sensor. There is one (P0128) for coolant temp too slow to reach operating temperature. 95% of the time that CEL is for a bad thermostat.
The analog temp gauge on the dash is not very accurate. Use the digital temp reading in the info center of the DIC. I'll bet your temps are too low.
Also. Posting which engine you have would help too.

I got the same code twice P0128 from Auto zone I also forgot to add that the cruise control doesn't work and the fuel gage fluctuates when these problems are present and car wouldn't go past 60 mph last night i will post a new video shortly my engine is 2.2L MFI DOHC

Oh, the A/C doesn't work either.
The p0128 means that the temp is not HIGH enough; the t-stat is stuck open.
New batteries can go bad.
There is no direct link between the door locks and the transmission.
