Driver's seat creaking/headliner rattles
My two big annoyances with my car over three years have been the rattles in the headliner (which I've pretty much given up on fixing) and the creaks in the driver's seat mounts which have crept up lately.
The headliner is just going to keep making noise, there's pretty much nothing else that hasn't already been done to stop that. Can't hear it that well with the radio on so I'm letting that go. But if anyone has any suggestions, fire away.
The seat is another issue though. It creaks and groans like it's getting shoved off its mounts when I accelerate/brake, and sometimes even if I just shift my weight at a stoplight. The seat itself doesn't feel like it's moving at all, and the noise is hard to recreate consistently, but it's really annoying when I hear it. I haven't had a chance to take a look at the mounts yet, but has anyone else had this issue and could point me in the right direction?

I have the same issues which the dealerdrips call ' leather creaking ' - Ok, so I slathered up a microfiber with some of my interior juice stuff and lubed all the places the leather rubs against leather. No change. The knuckle of the passenger seat that allows the flip forward flat feels all loose and janky. It most definately is loose and is one of many rattles.

I would look at the front mount area of the seat. This is just two "hooks" that fit in a slot on the floorpan support. You might have a little loose play in this area. If so a fix is: Unbolt 2 rear seat mount bolts. Tilt entire seat forward. Secure with a block of wood for safety. Put a thin shim of your choice where the hooks contact the floorpan support. Lower seat and test that it lowers back to seatbar. If so, reinstall bolts and tighten. You might have to try different thickness' of shims. Too thick and the seat won't lower back to the seatbar. Too thin they won't take up the slack.
I did this to mine when I lowered my seat and filed a little too much off of the hooks! I shimmed mine with some metal strips and taped them in place to prevent them from slipping out.
