Driving / Fog Lights

I have a 2008 HHR LT, which I purchased used.
Apparently this auto had the front bumper (cowling) replaced with an after market version. My HHR came originally with driving/fog lights and is completely wired, however the original equipment ligts will not mate up to the bumper (cowling) openings. I have both model versions of lights (LT & SS) The SS version is too small a goes right through the opening. The LT version is too large and will not snap into place on the opening. I am looking for something "just right". Am I missing a bracket to adapt to the molded opening???

The factory fog lights snap into the bumper cover from the back. Pictures would help us see if your using the right parts.

NP-Papa. Same question you ask last April. You didn't respond back then about your issue.
Here's a link: See post #8 and #9.

Type "how to post a picture" into the search box at the top center of any forum page.
