Eibach Spring Problem
#14
So to answer your original question...No...I couldn't have gotten Cobalt springs by accident because Eibach uses the SAME part number for Cobalt and HHR....

2005 HHR????
The GM springs on the cobalt and the HHR are different. The Eibach may be the same but the GM are not.
Question, Do goldlines have different part numbers for the HHR and Cobalt?
GM does not sell the same part with different part numbers. It may fit different vehicles but the part number stays the same. Only exception might be Saturn, but the company is a whole different story.

Any new updates? Sorry for your trouble but I had a similar problem with Eibach also, with my Suburban. I had their rear swaybar break in two and there springs after two years lost there compression. I was constantly bottoming out and switched to belltech springs. WOW, what a difference again. Feels like factory.
I've used there stuff before and it's ok. But trying to have Eibach honor their million mile warranty is a JOKE! Also my favorite tire place lost my business because they kept giving me the run around with "you got to go through the distributor" crap.
