Electrical issues... Help!

Hello, I have an 06 HHR and something is a mess!

My lighter did not work, the tail lights do not work, the cruise control does not work and the little LED light that shines down on the console at night also is off.

I have check every fuse and the only one that I found to be blown was the lighter fuse...and that fixed the lighter...

Anyone else have these issues...or any suggestions?

Thanks again!
Don.

Did you check both fuseboxes? The lighter fuse is in the box under the hood. But there is a second box on the center console on the passenger side inside the car. You have to remove the plastic panel. Fuse #9 is the stoplight fuse. The taillights also effect the cruise control (see recent post on this site).

Thanks, Yes I did know about the second fuse panel. I checked every checkable fuse and replaced #9 with another '10' as a test.
I did read the other posted, but I didn't find an answer... I did recently have the fuel pump replaced so I wonder if they bumped or moved something during the install.
thanks again.

Thats a definite possibility. Do you have a multimeter to follow the wiring from the fuse box to the taillights? If you fix the taillight problem, the cruise control issue may correct itself.

If I understand your question correctly and your additional post, I would say take it back to the people that did the fuel pump. They obviously screwed something up.

I'll bet, first off, they didn't disconnect the battery when pulling the pump.
