electrical problem?

A/C quit working about the same time I got fault codes for cam timing solenoids. A/C is fully charged, but compressor doesn't come on. Is there a common electrical connector for these that may be corroded? Input or a wiring diagram would be appreciated.

Cam solenoid codes are the only thing you are getting? If the A/C is not working, I would be inclined to think there is a code for the T-stat not working.

What Year/Trim level do you have? and how many miles?

And what exactly were the codes you found?

Not yet. I will have some time this weekend to check resistance readings to see if they're within specs.

[QUOTE=LawDog88;778573]Cam sensor codes QUOTE]

Solenoids! Not "sensors".

Why? What are the "Pxxxx" numbers? I have a feeling somebody told you P0128 means "valve timing". That is agreeing with LawDog88 .

Many trouble codes are interrelated. One can cause many other problems.

There is a link in my sig, just click it.

FYI.
Since nobody mentioned it. Certain CEL codes will disengage the AC compressor.
In other words. The computer will shut down the compressor until those codes are fixed/cleared.

FMG you mean like P0128 and P0011 and other camshaft codes?
Yes they will shut down the A/C
I know what I think is the problem but the codes will tell us what is the solution
