T/C light come on as part of "limp mode" it doesn't meant there's a problem with Traction Control..... At least in this case. Do you have the CEL code number?

Really he needs to see if any codes are stored - and post what they are. Misfires Are not related to the solenoids as far as I can remember.

When ours went into limp and T/C on dash it was a throttle body problem.

don't know about everybody else but we just had this on our 2006 w/95k miles...

throttle body needing cleaning, warning lights are gone and running much better.

Did it myself several months ago, first time ever cleaned one, ran great for a while, then started up again. Dealer charged 130 to do it all.
