Yeah I read it this morning but got called away to the hospital and lost the thread
I typed cold start shake and found a post from ChevyManager, he listed the TSB info
It stated info about the belt and the tensioner
See post 7

Thought that was the one, but I don't think its the one I read, which is why its bugging me. I am sure I read one that stated that a vibration was felt thru the steering wheel, and the whole thing sounded like whats happening. In case you can't tell, I'm fanatical about tracking down sounds and resolving them before they turn into something worth more than the car itself.
Right now prob gonna replace chain tensioner but maybe not the whole kit unless the rattle is still there. Its not bad now so im hoping gear chain and guides are still good, 107k.

They could be, I'm at 200,000 but the chain was changed when the head gasket was changed at 58,000, so 142,000 miles on my chain, 200,000 on the guides and sprockets, new style tensioner at 115,000 miles.
I read it is the alt drive belt and drive belt tensioner!
That TSB also points to the cam solenoids not parking and requiring replacement, on a VVT engine
