Fender removal question
I have a 09 hhr LT.
The driver side rear wheel fender section has a dent right above the window that is above the rear passenger tire. As appears the fender and window are removable as one piece.
So what I am asking is if the rear driver side fender is removable/interchangeable/replaceable.
Please let me know if I need to elaborate more.
Thanks.

Well it is, and it isn't, and it's not a DIY job. Let me explain.
The rear fender is part of the body side/door frame assembly, they are one continuous stamping as can be seen in the image below. A competent body shop can section the stamping and just replace the rear quarter panel where your damage is, but it requires tons of work. Done improperly, it can destroy the structural integrity of the vehicle and render it unsafe to drive. Get an estimate on removing the dent, chances are it can be popped out and repaired without resorting to panel replacement.
Unfortunately I found out all about replacing the entire body side/door frame assembly in 2011 after a drunk driver ran a red light and nailed my HHR to the tune of $6,300 in damages...plus $44,000 in medical costs.
