Folding rear seats

I just bought a used 2007 2LT love the car! one thing is the rear seats dont lock into position when folded back..... any thoughts on this? what do I need to fix/replace?

Are you sure they are all the way back..... there is a latch that firmly locks them when in the full upright position.

You realy have to slam them back to get
them to lock

Yes push them back hard. You will hear a load click when they lock. Make sure the seat belts aren't hanging up behind the seat.

Sometimes you do have to push the buttons on the seat done. They can hang up.

To echo everybody else, work the buttons a few times, make sure the belts are clear, and bang 'em back. I have 300 miles on the 2011 and the latches are sticky, so its just one of those HHR things.
