Front lower control arm
#21
On the estimate for the repair of the car for what the dealer is calling a broken RIGHT control arm, they are adding a paint job on the LEFT side of the car and repairs to the front and rear bumpers! That's how running boards fit in....Am I explaining this better? I get a little long-winded....

Gotcha, and I take it you are thinking of the peppered area at the rear doors correct? I see you mentioned you went over a curb. Did that in itself cause any damage that you know of?
Might want to call your insurance also. Get them involved and they might cover it also if GM is not. Or maybe even a laywer.

My insurance will cover it, but I have $500 deductable which I can't see paying since it was not my fault. And, this claim could increase my insurance rates.
Going over the curb at about 30-35 mph might have caused some damage, although the tires are still inflated..... I did not see any body damage.
