Hi just finished at autozone, guy says battery is fine no weakmess at all. On the way thw car will not go very fast, tachometer goes to 3.5 with np shift to higher gsar so I droe slowly on the shoulder.

Guy said he could not pull any codes. His comment 'electrixal nightmare'

Can someone cpmment? Thanks, hm

Mainly just wanted to check in and verify his information. I asked him if the battery could be weakened and stll read ok and he sort of sneered at me. My luck this week, did not get one of the nicer guys.

Well I hate to state the obvious, but you were dealing with a guy at Autozone who might not have had all his eggs in the basket Holly.

With the symptoms you're having, there are codes stored, I can't imagine any way there wouldn't be.

At this point I'd say its time to take to your dealer or a trusted mechanic come Monday morning, there needs to be some thorough diagnostic work done.

I did. It was painfully obvious that he was irritated about having to deal with me. It is very hot todsy, maybw that was part of it.

I told my mechanic the whole story, including all of the advice ya'll have given me. He said he will retest rhe battery and see if he can get codes. He is also going to check and see if the discount tire guyd knocked loose a speed sensor in case tjat is part of the problem.

Hopefully I will know more on aMonday.

Thanks to all of you SO MUCH!!!!

Keep us posted on how you make out, I think your tech may be onto something if the tire shop damaged a sensor or somehow broke a reluctor ring, how they could have done something that dumb...well anything is possible.

My ONLY further suggestion is to do the "under the hood fuse box connection" fix. Basically you push down real hard on the top of the fuse box, while supporting the bottom in order to make the blades re-insert themselves. The top half (the part that the fuses live in) is set into the lower half (the harness side). They become uncoupled, I believe that 2006 is a year covered in the TSB.

I will try that

I do push fuses down because I live on a very rutted road. But the two halves info is new to me. thank you!

The no up shift of trans with no speedo and dash dash dash on oil life, air
temp is what I had when my TCM went out. I also had a U0101 code. alot of just code readers won't pick that code up.
