Fuse for warning chime?

The chime warning for leaving the lights on, the key in the ignition, or turning running lights off is not working. I am thinking fuse but cannot locate which one it is. I don't see it listed in the owners manual. Can you help?

Thanks

I am not sure if we have a seperate fuse for the warning chimes. They are played thru the left front speakers. Have you checked the speakers yet?

The warning chimes are generated in the BCM or Body Control Module, then sent to the left front speaker through the radio head unit, chances are you have a bad connection at the left front speaker or on the back of the head unit.

No separate fuse for the chime function.

It's the speaker. Thanks for the quick and accurate responses.

@ Velocity12, out of curiosity, what was going on with the speaker that it didn't work?

Before condemning and replacing another power steering motor, here are a few things to check. Look under the dash for any wires that may be rubbing on the supporting structure causing a short. Check the connections on the motor itself, make sure they are secure. Check and also think about replacing the fuses for the power steering that are located in position #19 in the under dash fuse panel, and at position #1 in the underhood fuse box.

Only condemn the steering module after exhausting all the other avenues, its part of the steering column and very expensive to replace.
