Took the HHR in for her first service yesterday, and I don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but now when i stop the car, I can hear the gas sloshing around in the tank. Anybody have any clues, or should I just turn up the radio!

 

get a smaller tank and never let it go under full

 

Turn up the radio. I hear the same, especially when I come to a screeching halt.

 

Cranking the radio!!...and shrunk the tank... we'll see if that works!!... I know I'm way to precious with this car. I need to lighten up...HA!

 

I have only heard it when the tank is full, or nearly full, at a complete stop. Usually on my arrival somewhere, turning off the engine and the music.

 

Never noticed it in my car...but I'm sure the radio volume might have something to do with that.

 

The reason you hear the gas so clearly is that the tank is located below the backseat. Like everybody says, Turn up the tunes

 

What, are you just trying to show off how rich you are?

 

He's just trying to show off at the station, filling up every few miles!

 

I'm so rich I go up to the Shell station, put in my credit card, and just pour 89 octane into the potted plant next to the pump... and then complain about the sloshing in my tank!!
