Get"check cas cap" code
I haven't scanned the car yet, but its keeps saying check the gas cap, I replaced it with a new one and cleaned the fill tube, but it keeps comming back, what else can it be?

To start with make sure that you close the cap till it clicks 3 times. Check the lip of the fill tube for crud or dents.
How many start up cycles since you replaced the cap? It takes several before the code clears.
After that you have an air/vacuum leak somewhere in the fuel system.

I do drive alot,{223k so far} and I have filled up about 2-3 times, I did clean the rust off the lip with a scotchbrite- with a rag stuffed in so as not to get junk in tank. And why would you fill up with the car running? Besides being illeagal,{in MN} it wastes fuel. Mine heats up in about 1-2 miles. Prob have a leak, have to do the O2 sensors soon.

SOMETIMES it takes a number of engine cycles....start, drive, stop, etc. to clear the display. I think there may be a SI or something in regard to this....I know I read it someplace.....maybe the Owners Manual.

I think it takes 3 restarts to clear it if the condition is gone. It sounds like he has done that, and then some. It has to be some other vacuum leak, I think. The purge solenoid and its connections are possibilities, but it could be a vent to the tank, too. It could be hard to find, once the easy things have been tried.
