Just a thought,
I was thinking about adding that. Just thought it was too obvious.

I would like to know what all the reading are, front and back?
Is the a "pull" or a drift?
Will it do it at 5 MPH?
Does the driver weight more than 250lbs?

This is not rcoket science, it is an easy fix!

No offense taken don and I appreciate the help.
There is a range as you said and it is I believe
.01 out
From the looks of some of the potholes I saw and dodged in the area I bought the car from
I would believe that a hard hit could cause a bend.
The car now drives much better. If I ride on a crown it tends to pull that way but so far not bad.
The techs at the dealership said that it was barely out but shouldn't I expect it to be in?
Good to hear someone else's pulls left also
Don are you curious how it went out from the factory or curious how it went out from when I bought it?
They claimed it was aligned when I bought it saw the paperwork but no before and after specs.

I will get back to you with specs
Unfortunately ya I am just over 250
Drives pretty good now the more I drive the better it seems to get.
Still thinking radial pull a little

Shouldn't gm correct the camber for me since I just bought it?

I'd ask for the camber correction to be done, the kit I told you about retails for less that $25 and the dealership doesn't pay anything close to that. And to answer your question from a few posts back, that kit is for all HHR models.

Just a thought,
Good point car is not lowered or raised but maybe spring settled? Or I think don mentioned that a worn bushing could cause this
They just replaced right front wheel bearing if for some reason it was ****ed when: installed dirt rust maybe that could do it?
Just not sure what to do now
I will do a visual check myself it really is better though
But as I mentioned just thought gm would correct this I guess I have to call them

So I should buy kit then install myself? Then bring back for another alignment.he said he would charge about $50 for alignment second time?

I think that what you'd find if you had access to the vehicle's full service history, and the phone number of its original owner, is that they probably just "Nailed" a pothole hard enough to do some damage.

Hitting one just right, or wrong actually, can damage a bearing and wreak havoc with the alignment. And with the low profile tires on the SS, its a bit more vulnerable to pothole damage than an LS or LT even with the 17" rims on the 2LT.

Many years ago in Erie I hit a pothole that looked just like another puddle in my K-series full size Blazer, that "puddle" turned out to be a foot deep, broke the steering knuckle on the right side! Had I been in an HHR(well had they even existed back then), pretty sure that hole would have trimmed the suspension off in one fell swoop.

***Edit...yeah you could do the kit yourself Big Jack, but I think I'd call Chevrolet on Monday morning and talk to them about it, ask for a supervisor and see what they say. 1-800-222-1020 or shoot a PM to Michelle or Evan here at "Chevrolet Customer Service".

What I was meaning was : Ask the SalesPerson "what could make the camber go out of spec.". It just can't happen without broken or worn out parts. Used to be "normal" wear was a reason, but McPherson struts have NO allowance for wear. It's either broken or not broken, in modern talk 0 0r 1.

2 members mentioned potholes. last i checked potholes didnt void the warranty. these dealerships are ridiculous. chevy should stand behind their product, not find reasons to not cover the warranty they offered
