First, condolences on your loss of course. Regarding your GM Employee discount, you may find that incentives, dealer negotiations, etc would result in a price very close to what you could get with the employee discount anyway. Personally if I were in the market for an SS, I would be patient and look for a good used one. The prices are VERY reasonable for a nice 2008, be picky and get one that is perfect, you will save huge off new, even accounting for less favorable financing terms if applicable.

I agree with c2vette, I saw a black SS on our used car lot , with 15K, miles for $16,900 which means they would sell it for less.

As a matter of fact some dealers around here are selling new cars at PEP2 prices. To the OP try the contact numbers on the Family First sight I linked and explain your situation and maybe they can help you figure out how to do it.Good Luck

The Cherokee I traded in on my HHR had 245000 on it and I drove it every day. I cant say anything bad about a Jeep 4.0 !
