Head lamps

I have a 08 hhr ss . So the other day i was driving and when i got to my destination the headlights never shut off. So i disconnected the battery for a little. Then connected it back. Just to see that didnt work. So now everytime i reconnect the battery the headlights goes on even if the car is off and not running. And now because of this the fan wont go on now. I tried to pull the fuses out and put them back in. That didnt work. Now im all ouy of options.

Welcome to the site, have a look at the multi switch on the steering column, remove the connection, see if the lights go off.
there are relays in the fuse box under the hood also to pull and inspect.

I'm guessing you mean the radiator fan. Headlights being on should not affect the fan operation. They are 2 separate systems.
For the headlights, check to make sure the headlight switch didn't get turned from Auto to the ON position.
If you get the warning "Ding" that you left the lights on, then that would indicate the switch was in the ON position.
(FYI. The warning chime sound comes from the left front speaker and will only chime if that speaker is working and not bad)

Ok so last night i pulled the relay out and it did shut off. But when i put them back in and turned the car on and switch the autolights off they still stayed on. So now what you said and what I described. It sounds like I need new relays for the headlamps.

Is the car new to you? I have suggestions but don't want to offend.

If you need a Owner Manual there is a link in my sig.

You can move relays from other places in the underhood fuse box, or you need a new multi switch

Well. That just sounds like the DRL's. (Daytime Running Lamps) Normal function. DRL's are simply headlights that are on when the normal headlights aren't called for.
As Donbrew said, no offense, but it's covered in the Owners Manual or look up DRL's on the internet.

You probably still have a problem though if they don't go out after shutting the car off.

None taken. But i do know that the drl do go on when car is on and i can shut them off if i want. But they do not go off at all even if i switch the drl off. The only time they go off is when the battery is disconnected. But ima try to replace the relay fuse or switch them up.

If the problem is not found among the fuses ...

the headlights and the radiator fan can be combined only one thing: both consumers take power from the front wiring harness.
This is the path to go. First, a careful visual inspection of the wiring (breaks, deformations, insulation perforation, corrosion, etc.). Then arm with a tester and methodical ringing of all connections. The goat is hiding somewhere in this area.
It will be useful to lubricate inside all eye-catching connectors with dielectric grease. It is unlikely that the problem is in the connectors, but this is the prevention of the health of your car.
Even the fuse box itself does not hurt to test.
