I got tired of fighting with those stupid plastic clips when changing out headlight bulbs. I'm using Silvertabs which only last about a year. I put on some thread clips and used stainless steel screws to attach the wheel-well plastic on instead of those stupid plastic clips. It works much better and is so much easier to work with.

LOL, it took me about 30 minutes to realize the gasket issue when I changed mine earlier this year.

I have been thinking about adding fog lights too but I am extremely hesitant considering how much trouble I had changing the headlamps. Anyone have any experience installing new fog lights?

I can't imagine fog lights would be any harder to install as they are lower to the ground.

Though an alternative that I have been thinking about is getting an LED flood/spot bar to put in the opening down below the bumper between the fog lights, and wiring it up manually.

I too have thought about getting a light bar as well. I have seen quite a few of them installed on cars around here. They look awesome when the headlamps are the same color temperature but when your lamps are on the yellow end of the spectrum the LED light bar looks really out of place to me.

I am using Sylvania zXe bulbs and I think they are around 3000K. All the light bars I have seen are in the 5000K or higher range. I have also wanted to install HID's but I have heard bad things about aftermarket kits. I hear their ballasts don't hold up very well. Plus I am a little concerned about heat and the plastic headlamp housing.
