Ita the one that cane with it.... how would one know if it's the "correct one" ? Also, the fuses are all good for that circuit, but both OBD and that lighter deal doesnt work. When I remove the center counsel cover, obviously I'll be looking at the wiring directly attached to the rear side of the cig lighter, but what all colors/connectors should I be looking at behind the radio, if you know? I'm no good at reading the mechanic electrical schematics much better with colors ha!
Also, I do recall that the people who owned it before us had an audio place install an aftermarket radio compatible for Sirius XM. And if I remember correctly, shortly after that is when they had some issues with starting (dead battery) and then the cig lighter but they changed a fuse and all was good after that. And they had headlight issues (thought the bulbs burnt prematurely) but it kept occurring so when we got it, they said the dealership said it was the multifunction toggle switch that needed replaced. So after we got it, we changed that out and it was a while after that that we began to have issues with it. I get up at 245am for work and now have to drive before the sun comes up so I just want this figured out before winter!

And I cant seem to find a link for anything that explains wiring harness for that area in the colors. Maybe you could find one, or already have one, and post it?

A cig lighter hold the element until it is hot a power outlet has no hold. That is why I asked the question before and got no answer.

Why can't you drive with head lights on during the day?

You never answered if it was the tell tale or the lights are the tail lights on etc.

Any wiring diagrams will be by system not area. Do you know anything about electronic circuits?

2006 headlight wiring is different from all other years. Here is what you asked for:

I can drive during the day with headlights, but I have to be to work before the sun is even up :) I get up at 245am sun doesnt rise till around 6-630 right now.
All tail lights, blinkers and the yellow running lights on the car work. Dim lights work at this time (last year NONE of the lights worked, or just as they pleased.
I dont know anything about mechanic circuits but am willing to learn. I wired my entire house as I built it 4 years ago, and had to learn all of that to pass codes and such so I'm willing to learn how the hell this car works :) (I'm a ford girl so getting this car, and then all of its problems....😂 makes me wish I'd have never sold my Expedition! )

He's asking if the tail lights are on during the day. If they are not, then it is the daytime running lights that are on, which is normal.
