Heater Fan

The heater fan on our HHR only works on high. Does anyone know how to fix this?

is this a closed unit? mine is starting to make a tick sound, wondering if greasing it would help

Yes, you have to cut it out, then bolt a new one on.

Greasing it won't make the ticking go away, you need to disassemble the motor and sand down the pickup on the stator and the brushes and make them smooth again. They are worn and grooved that's why it's making noise. I just did this to mine and it's quiet now
