Hello my new community

I enjoy driving my HHR and I love my car.
But once a while I do get problem "ESC ACTIVATED". Usually it happens when I start drive my car after the car has been parked for 9 hours. Tonight it happened again and I decided to join the community to share the problem. Also would like to see your suggestions and opinions.

Welcome to the site. My guess based on your symptoms would be that one of the wheel speed sensors are beginning to fail. If one of the sensors read 0 when the others are moving the system will activate and try to correct the "slipping wheel". Your best bet at this point is to get the abs codes read and one sensor will probably set a code for intermittent signal. If there is a code it will give you a place to start.

to the forum!

Lucky is on the right track, although it may turn out to be something else triggering the message, but have the codes pulled before you do anything else.

With HHR's, as with any modern vehicle, we live and die by the diagnostic codes. Once you get the codes pulled, post them up here.
