So, in 3 days we have gone from somebody took a hammer to plastic part to losing money on a trade-in.
The HHR is pretty far from an "American" car. Assembled in Mexico, trans made in Canada, engine parts from any of several European factories etc. IDK where the body panels get stamped, a guess would be S. Korea.
It is really probably better to call it an Opel than a Chevy.
