They are only easy to replace if you have 5 jointed skinny arms. Easiest if you remove the pipe. And yes the Advance Auto reader could be wrong/misleading, codes technically only tell the properly trained technician what further tests to perform for a correct diagnosis, (that rarely happens). There is even a huge book on the subject!

A code just tells you that the oxygen sensor is not giving a normal reading, it doesn't tell you why.

i have the same code(not sure what it is)

after cat converter is what i was told. is it always defective??? can it be coated in something where its giving a bad reading?? all im saying is id much rather spray some parts cleaner on it and "clean" it off then buy a new one. im pretty handy, just not good with electrical portion of vehicles

In my particular case it turned out that the accordion part of the pipe had a hole in it, thus giving bad readings to the computer. "defective" is really not the right word "worn out from exposure to corrosive gas" would be more accurate, but go ahead and try cleaning it, you might save $.

I had the accordian flex pipe replaced and now the O2 sensor is bad, is that a common problem after?

Common? No. However when it was removed and reinstalled on the new flex pipe, it might have been damaged, or not hooked up securely.

What is the code you are getting off of the CEL?

Or, if by replaced you mean a new part welded on; did the welder remove the HO2 sensor first? All that heat and electricity not good.

I have decided to bump this thread with my problem.

I have 07 panel with 2.4 engine.
Maybe half year ago I have used really bad-quality oil for 2k miles.
Just after that I received P0011 (engine solenoid error).
This error didn't disappear after two oil changes.

I've bought all needed parts to replace solenoids but didn't change them yet (I have bought both solenoids for P0010 and P0011 just in case)

After 2nd change of oil I have started receiving bunch of O2 sensor errors: P0137, P2A01, B2AAA.

So my question is - is it reasonable to change solenoids first, wait some time and only then start thinking about O2 sensors? Or should I buy acdelco sensors on ebay (as I understand - I need two 213-4195 sensors) and change them and solenoids in one time?

I'd change the solenoids first reset the computer and if the O2 codes show up again then change the O2 sensors.

HO2 sensor errors do not necessarily mean bad HO2 sensors!!!!!!!!!!!!

How many times does this have to be said? May mean an exhaust leak, a bad cat, a bad injector, a bad spark plug, a bad wire lots of other things. Don't buy parts just because the SALEPERSON who reads the codes tells you to.

OBDII codes are diagnostic STARTING points.......(PERIOD)

And I doubt if cheap oil would have any effect in the short run on any functions.
