i bought a 06 spring edition last april(used with 16,000 miles)and the dash started peeling 5months after i bought it. i took it to the dealer and they told me GM isnt fixing interior peaces that peel. Well the service manager repainted the part that was peeling but now its starting to peel all over. Kinda sounds like the service manager is giving me a bunch of crap but i wanted to know if anyone else had this problem.

 

Where is it peeling? Most of the interior is either dyed plastics iirc.

 

i don't think it is possible for it to peel. maybe 06 is different , or maybe someone painted it.

 

Wow yea im curious to what is peeling also, is it the Waterfall that peeling?

 

yea the service manager said that armorall will cause GM dashes to peel and if it peels its because you used armorall and is not covered by warranty. its peeling ontop on the instrament cluster and now on the upper glove box and to the left of it. what i dont get is that the dash is already black and it has a black paint over it(stock or so the service manager said) the dealership is Grand Prize Chevy in miami florida

 

Wow my dash doesn't have paint on it at all it dyed plastic. I don't use armorall cuz that jus attracts more dust but i do use a conditioner on it.

 

it could be that 06's are different but my dad has an 08 and it looks the same also i'm wondering if they painted anything on spring editions or did anything different on them......i'm at a loss i love the car and its in great shape but it has too many problems...starting problem..peeling dash and int trim

 

I have a 06 and there is no paint on my dash. Did you buy new ? When I installed my in sight I drilled a hole and it was black all the way. Look at my build date there are not to many built before mine.
