Usually it is a loose/corroded wire supplying either power or ground, sometimes the bus wires.
Get rid of that stupid ground wire, it is dangerous.

I was reading this thread to narrow my issues down.
You mentioned getting rid of the ground wire.
Where exactly are you referring to?
I've tested the ECM and TCM on my 2006 2.4L and both have continuity to ground which could be part of the cause of the crazy issues I've been having.
If you're able to help me pin-point exactly which wire to remove and from where, that would be a huge help!
