I have a 07 1LT fully-loaded, that had a leak in the passenger-side front. Stopped by the dealership just before lunch to show them the wet carpet. The service manager said the HHRs had a history of leaking around the windshield. I was to bring it in the next morning. Thinking about them removing the windshield and reinstalling it and calling it fixed scared the heck out of me. I have a sunroof, so I did some testing after work that afternoon. When I squirted water into the right front drain hole the carpet started getting wet in exactly the same spot it had before. All the other drain holes drained out where they are supposed to. Armed with that information I took it in the next morning, told them what I did, where it leaked and took a loaner to work. Lunch-time it was ready and they told me the drain tube wasn't even hooked up and was just hanging inside the kick panel. Don't know if you have a sunroof, but if you do check those tubes. I used a high-tech sunroof leak-tester... a turkey baster with a piece of ice-maker tubing taped to the end.

Is this something I could pick up at the local Discount Auto??

Need to check the same drain as Dory has had a few wetting issues after some serious rainfalls.

I have not ever seen a GM buy back that wasn't a GREAT deal for the customer. Usually their buy back amount is more then the used car appraised value. Good luck and I hope it all turns out for the better for you!
