Nice thread, 4 pages long and I am just reading it.
First off wagoneer, nice job holding your own against the gang of 10.
Second off, lets end the personal attacks or I am locking the thread.
FYI they are called Assist Steps if you buy them as an accessory, If you have to replace them they are called Rocker Panel Moldings and I call them ROCK GUARDS.
Wagoneer smiley faces are fun, try them some time.

My only opinion on this and what I worked out with my dealer on my previous HHR is that the boards would be installed at the cost of what the boards would have cost if purchased with the vehicle.
