well thanks for the heads up i have replaced mine and built a fiberglass speaker pod to go there. still underconstruction but pics up soon!

NEED HELP CHEVYMGR>>>>>>> did they install right........i couldnt decide which color i wanted for the recall.........they gave me 5 colors... so i installed all of them..... no instructions so i dont know if they are even installed right.........

The red one is the one you need. Adhesive coefficients on the other strips aren't rated sufficiently high for hard cornering.

Look again, The impact on the Fuzz buster would be paramount if using the red. You want something is going to give off a little less interference. might I suggest something i little farther down the spectrum?

the red is rated highest for handling, but you are going to have to remount the radar detector to get optimum performance out of that tape.

Wow! I didn't even think of that. Good point. But doesn't the blue offset some of the interference? Or is that only with a darker blue... something in the 450nm range?
