Basically inside the trans. But could be a wiring related issue.

There is a wiring harness connection to the trans, on the bottom. And the other end is under the Darth Vader hood in front of the fuse box.

This also could be a case where a transmission fluid flush might fix it.

It's not actually in the pan, The valve body is under the side cover, not in the gear box.

Use the search tool, somebody in the last year or so went to the trouble of typing in the procedure to get to it in another thread. Basically, better left to a pro, unless you got time a good garage and a little experience. The part is cheap, the labor is probably around 12 hours.

Check your PM, I have something that may help.

I just looked at the manual and the job appears do-able with moderate skills. The service manual also states that after you change the solenoid(s):

Important: It is recommended that transmission adaptive pressure (TAP) information be reset. Resetting the TAP values using a scan tool will erase all learned values in all cells. As a result, The ECM, PCM or TCM will need to relearn TAP values. Transmission performance may be affected as new TAP values are learned.

Could be:
low battery
dirty fluid/clogged internal passages
bad wiring between the TCM and the transmission.

GoOgle translate:Podría ser:
batería baja
fluido sucio / pasajes internos obstruidos
Mal cableado entre el TCM y la transmisión.
