i drove car on sat worked fine, wife goes to take to church sun morning, she says i turned over,started and quit, now wont turn over, i cked all the battery conections ect , any ideas ????

 

Check the battery for voltage , check the fuse box under the hood, and the ground wire connection at the front driver's side of the rad cradle then follow it down to the front of the transmission just to the right of the engine below the oil filter cap!
Sounds to me like a dead battery

 

Are the interior lights working? Do the headlights come on? What about when you try to turn it over. If all that appears to be working make sure it's in park.. ..

 

cleaned connections first, charged batt, replaced batt with anther used (good one) tryed in park and neutral, lites all come on,

 

And.....? Start ?, no start ?, turn over ?

 

nothing has changed , still doesnt turn over

 

Did you check the fuse by the battery it should be ok if the lights work

 

i did ck that fuse, i just raised car up and jumped starter car turns over,then turned key on and jumped starter agin, turns over but no start,

 

If I understand correctly the car will crank over only when you jump the wires at the starter but will not start. Im guessing you my have a problem with the under hood fuse box.

Another thing that comes to mind is the anti theft key system. Have you tried a different key

 

yes thought of that too, i tryed the extra set of keys
