How to get Crayon out of the back seat??

Deb, the rest still applies for the most part. It does mention using an iron, and the ice thing does work as well, but scraping crayon can fray the fibers if overdone, just like using the hairdryer can be harmful if overdone. It's one of these be careful and TAKE YOUR TIME sort of things.

True...but the iron idea sounds best to me and alot less hazardous to the fabric...plus the other ideas seem much quicker. It's obvious that it's been a while since I've had small children in my car with crayons. Had to look it up on the internet or call my boyfriend.

THIS WORKS.
Just went throught this last week in our van. Use an iron & wax paper, shinney side down. can usually be fouond in a supermarket. You will need to change the wax paper several times because the crayon will melt on to it. After getting as much of the caryon out of the seat use resolve cleaner to remove the rest. This is a LONG process took us about 1 1/2 hours. We had a blue & red crayon melted on the seat, the red was a real ***** to get out.

I like the idea of no kids in the car period (although that couldn't happen with me since I have 2). You should try getting Coke off the headliner (fortunately not the HHR).
