I'd rather have a job done right rather than have it done fast! That applies to having an oil and filter change on my car too. Why the big sweat anyway?

I didn't say you were stupid. You asked a question and didn't mention you were the only one at the dealership in your original post. I can only give my opinion and I didn't assume you were the only person there because that is impossible at any of the dealerships in my area. The dealership I go to has like 20 bays and the place is always busy. Don't take sh*t so personal.

I'm gonna change my own oil when the time comes. I consider routine maintenance to be a therapeutic activity, a chance to spend quality time with your car. I've already got a set of Rhino Ramps and a transportable sealable oil drain pan.
