I cannot keep HID lights working.

Hello everyone! I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, but like the title says, I am having nothing but headaches with my HID lights. I bought my HHR less than a year ago. It's an '07 and the previous owner had installed the HID lights. after a month or so, one went out. I replaced it and the other went out not long after. I kept having trouble with them, so eventually I just switched back over to standard bulbs. But I love the HID's. After checking things out in the internet, I realized the previous owner had not installed a HID relay. So last week I purchased one. Everything was great until tonight, Yet again, I have a light out on the drivers side. I noticed last night the headlight would kind of flash. Then tonight I drove it and both headlights were working. I go into the store and come out and one is not working. I'm love the HID's, but they are really a pain in the butt for me. Does anyone else have problems with them? Is there something I am doing wrong? Any help would be great.

Make sure the ballasts grounds are good, your ballasts could also be bad.

X2 on the ballasts and grounds.

Since you didn't do the work, try contacting the people who made the kit for a set of instructions, then go over the whole installation.

Just because they work/worked, doesn't mean they were installed correctly.

I think it really depends on how the weather affect them too. I had a set in mine for a while...looked really awesome but in the winter they would not work very well. It is hard to find a good set that stays sealed. I had mine mounted in the fenders and they would get a little wet. My ballasts kept going bad. I had relays installed and everything wired correctly and they just weren't durable.
