WOW 7 times. That really sucks.
Can you give us a run down on the issues you've had with your tranny and at what mileage. ?

look at it as a blessing in disguise I guess. Your dealer keeps insisting that there are no major issues with your car. Now that this happened maybe they will give you that buy-back option?

The tranny problems started around 2-3 months ago...at first it was an occasional jerk when the it shifted...the occasional turned into more and more often soon causing the check engine light to come on....on my first report to the dealer the check engine light went off and they did nothing other than send me home........the 2nd time was on the way home from the dealer...shift hard with some slipping....engine light not on........the next morning i called them..said bring it back in...so i did....engine light came on on the way to dealer...but it gave them nothing to work with...so once again i was sent home......that was on a friday....on that weekend i drove across town to my parents and went up a nice steep hill...felt like the tranny was going to fall out of the car and it started slipping bad....i called monday...brought it in....they ran some more diagnostics and came up with the transmission shift solenoid....they ordered it in.....i came back in and they supposedly put the part in and sent me home.....only for it to start slipping and jerking again that night......once again i call again and come in in the morning....they check it and get low voltage codes and say it needs a new ignition switch so they order it in and replace it....all was good for 3-4 weeks......then over this last weekend it started over again...started out occasional..then every shift....so i call them monday they wanted me in on thursday i asked if they really expect me to wait that long and they said well bring it wednesday...so on the way this morning the tranny was slipping very very bad and shifting really hard...half way to the dealer the car makes a very loud click noise and down shifts really hard and kills all power.....i coast to the shoulder and called roadside assistance...then called the dealer and let them know id be late to my appointment.....
the mileage it started was around 17,500 to currently 18,300

That's a shame...hopefully the will do the buy back option and you can get rid of this car. Sounds like it's been way too much trouble. Good luck!!!
