Intake duct question

Intake duct question
Can someone please post an image of their actual intake duct. I have a 2007 LT2, if that matters. I was replacing my air filter today when I noticed that this part was a fabric breather hose that completely fell apart after moved it. I'm looking to replace the part, but if it is meant to be a fabric breather hose like it was, I'll just replace it with like material and the included fittings. Refer to part number six in the following image

Thanks! It doesn't seem worth 65$ to replace with a new factory part as most of the cost probably comes from the fittings on each end. I'm going to head over to Home Depot or somthing to find the correct type of hosing.
Again, thanks for the quick answer. I'll post pics of the new hose when its complete. Since I found absolutely nothing on Google about this, and it seems it could easily happen again, maybe I'll help out the next guy.

I'm thinking his woolly worm is a victim of the Arizona heat, they see some really elevated under hood temps out that way. It may also be a victim of the dry climate out there, might have dried it out so it lost its ability to flex.

I wonder, for future reference, how could someone take care of that hose? Like you said, the elevated under the hood temps must have heated up the adhesive to the point where it could mix with dust particles.
Another question, is this hose a crucial part of the intake system? Seems like the placement doesn't allow for adequate flow. Thinking about it, I'd like to route something closer to the lower grille.
