interior bulb issue

its been quite cold here this past week and Ive noticed that when I open the doors to get into my car, the interior lights do not come on. If I leave the door open for a few seconds they eventually come in - like a 5 second delay. Is this just a possibility that its very cold and the lights are struggling to warm up? or is this something else?

Sounds like the button in the door jamb is sticking.

Have you check what the other doors do when you open them

x10 - that is a pretty typical issue for a lot of vehicles as they rack up the miles/years, especially in cold temps. Give the switch and it's covering a shot of silicone spray or such.

Wink

... test #1 open door, push on plunger, see what happens.
test #2 open door, push/pull on plunger, see what happens.
perform these tests after the "open other door(s), see what happens" test as outlined above ....
