Intermittent Charging System Fault

A bad battery will kill a good alternator. There have been many times here, people have been told that their battery was good, but it wasn't true.
After you've run the new alternator for a few days, you should get another load test, post the voltage, CCAs, all the numbers here.
See, if the tech can't see the specs printed on the battery, they might enter incorrect specs, and your test results could be wrong.
Your battery is probably fine, but it would be a shame to wreck the new alternator if it isn't.

Case closed. Found a "new" Valeo alternator (Valeo is the OEM) at a local starter/alternator shop for a great price (way better than I found anywhere else). All systems good now! I have been driving it a few days and just had the battery retested. No issues! Thanks folks!
