IPCW L.E.D. Taillights - Backup Lights Not Working

Hey there! I recently installed the Bermuda Black L.E.D. IPCW Taillights on my 06 HHR and they look awesome! However, the backup lights are not working for some reason. Has anyone else had this problem? My backup lights worked before I switched them, so I am unsure of the problem.

Gonna go out and say are you 100 % sure all your connections between the upper and lower are sound?

you may have a defective unit...but before we go down that road i would suggest
re-installing them and following the instructions, making sure you have the plugs inserted correctly.

Unhappy

Everything should be correct. I checked wires several times. When I unplugged the bottom wire and re-plugged it on the left side it did turn on for a few seconds, although, I shut the car off and restarted it to only find that it stopped working again. I'll try reinstalling them again after work.

Okay, everyone! I feel silly but the problem has been solved. I had the wires backward. The label clearly says "Black to Black". Apparently, I don't know how to follow the directions or match colors. Give a girl a break!

Sorry! Thanks anyway for those who commented. I appreciate it!
